Full suspension electric mountain bikes combine the pedal-assist power of an eMTB motor with dual-spring suspension — a fork up front and a shock at the rear. The result is dramatically improved traction, reduced rider fatigue and the ability to ride technical trails with greater speed and confidence.

At PeakPedal, our full suspension eMTB range spans trail bikes with 130–150mm of travel (ideal for UK trail centres and flowing singletrack) through to enduro rigs with 160–175mm of travel for the most technical and demanding descents. The most popular mid-range models are the Cube Stereo Hybrid 160, Orbea Wild H20 and Mondraker Crafty — all delivering exceptional value in the £3,000–£4,000 bracket.

For the motor, Bosch Performance CX is the dominant choice in the full suspension segment — it's powerful, reliable and supported by our Bosch-certified workshop. Shimano EP801 is a strong alternative with arguably smoother power delivery, while the DJI Avinox system (via Amflow) represents the most advanced technology currently available.
